Is the use of the standards mandatory?

Home »

Pursuant to the Law on Standardization, standards are used voluntarily, i.e. the producers can observe them or can operate according to their own prescribed rules and procedures. However, most often the market where the product is placed dictates the use of the standards that are generally recognized and usable such as the European and international standards.

If the national legal regulation refers to/contains some standard, the use of the standard becomes mandatory.
